Life Lately: Random Snaps from My Camera Roll
September 26, 2016
Just a little bit of personal blogging for now. The rest of my South Korea trip is still on the works plus I have Kpop fangirling blog post ideas. I hope you watch out for those!
Life's been pretty uneventful lately... except that I celebrated my 24th birthday last Tuesday and Jinyoung celebrated his birthday last Thursday lol. Yes, Jinyoung and I's birthdays are 2 days... and 2 years apart. He's younger than me by 2 years. I told myself before that my ideal guy's age should be either of the following: same age as mine, 1-4 years older OR just a few months or a year younger (tops!). But since Jinyoung is 2 years younger than me, I adjusted my age range ;) Seriously!! Ok, I'm just your typical fangirl lol.
Fine... let's get on with the photos :))
All these Japanese-related things! The book I'm (still) currently reading, 1Q84, and this Popin' Cookin' ice cream candy kit I got from Japan last March. I was only able to play with it last month and good thing it wasn't expired yet. I also bought the sushi one. They look so cute but the taste is, well, normal candy. The appeal is the novelty of making the candy and how it's so photo-worthy lol.
The contents of the ice cream candy kit! Yes, I put it on the bed for photo purposes because... #basic LOL!
The finished product!
Decluttering challenge progress: I threw away my business trip-related airfare tickets (after tearing it of course!). Why was I keeping these, really? I have accumulated more than 30 tickets in the past 3 years and I don't exactly need it.
I was also able to throw away the rest of my old grade school and high school notebooks. I threw away most of it when I did a major decluttering session early this year. I guess I have stopped becoming a memory hoarder! :D Look at those STCQC-mandated notebook covers! White bond paper + design using various colors of art paper + color coded per subject. Red is for Sibika, Fuchsia is for Math ;)
Speaking of STC, I went back to my high school 2 weeks ago to get my cousin's card. She is a grade 11 student there. It feels so weird to be back there, on normal school hours, and not be a student. Oh, and this is how the classrooms in the new building of STC look like! It's so modern-looking and so surreal @-) My cousin is an outstanding student, by the way! Yay!
Vision Board revamp! No after revamp photo hehe. Basically same major goals but just organized it in a way I can understand better. It's a nice sight to see when I wake up in the morning because it reminds me to VISUALIZE, VISUALIZE, VISUALIZE!
Birthday selfies aka the only "me" photos I took on my 24th birthday. I rarely take selfies anymore except when I travel lol. I take solo photos of me probably once every 2-3 months which explains why I hardly change my display photos in my social media accounts LOL.
Birthday advice. Very fitting! "You were created to make a positive difference in the world." So create that difference, Leana!
Also bought Vietnamese coffee on my birthday. It tastes soooo good and the smell is amazing. It keeps me awake as well. Vietnamese coffee is my new obsession even thought it's a bit strong for me. Trung Nguyen + Vietnamese coffee filter + condensed milk then you're done! I used the pour over coffee method for this photo because I couldn't find my Vietnamese coffee filter.
And last but not the least... food adventures for the past weeks...
Salisbury Steak + mojos + chocolate milkshake. I like the food! Filling and delicious for my tummy. The chocolate milkshake tastes like Sustagen but I enjoyed drinking it.
Nice interior!
Had lunch in Artsy Cafe at Maginhawa with Jj a month ago. It was our second time to eat here!
My brothers enjoying their milk tea. Tokyo Bubble Tea's royal milk tea is one of my favorite milk teas ever!
Super Fireball Roll
Chicken Teriyaki Pesto Pasta
Hamburg Melt Omurice
Yakisoba
Black Pepper Chicken with Kimchi Rice
Tokyo Bubble Tea lunch with my family a few weeks back which definitely satisfied our Japanese food cravings.
Mom & Tina's Sheperd's Pie for some comfort food!
I had my birthday (late) lunch at K-Town Eastwood with Jj. We ordered the samgyupsal set and woo samgyup set and these come with unlimited rice (we had kimchi rice!) and sides. We got our bellies filled up with this meal so we weren't able to grab some dessert afterwards.
Another Korean lunch just last Saturday at Mokja Maginhawa with Korean Language class classmates~ PhP 299 for unli samgyupsal, rice and sides?? YES PLEASE!
I will be posting another entry before the week ends. Right now, I need to focus on GOT7's comeback in 30 minutes (STREAM STREAM STREAM!) so bye for now~^^
*aprubt end of blog post LOL* HARD CARRY HAE!!!
