I know my recent blog entries always start this way but yeah... it’s been a while. Life got in the way, my prioritization skills needs some work yadda yadda yadda. Even I get tired of my excuses lol 😂

ANYWAY, I’m here! And hopefully I keep this up. I just actually downloaded a habit tracker app so I can further push myself to stop procrastinating and stop wasting time doing mindless things. My 2017 theme is #mindful2017 and even if there is only a month and a half left of the year, I should still try living that theme out, yeah? 

I know I’m blabbing. I just miss blogging like this — talking about random, not so related, unintentionally constructed thoughts. This reminds me of why blogging is so therapeutic. Siiigh.

What’s up with my life lately? (I know! There is no flow in this blog entry lol) I feel renewed (thus, the title), rejuvenated and refreshed. It was the ASEAN holiday last Monday - Wednesday then a few days before that, I flew to Hong Kong to spend time with my college friends. Leaving the country and not going to work for a few days were just what I needed! And I'm thankful and grateful to have been given the opportunity and time to experience those. Also, during the short break, I was able to clean my closet, edit my vision board and reprioritize! I also started listening to audio books and podcasts again mostly on Law of Attraction and Positive Thinking. These audiobooks boosted my motivation level by 1000% no kidding!! It feels amazing! I feel amazing!

I do have blog topics in mind which I should totally work on the soonest, hopefully before December rolls around. Kpop, HK, book reviews, etc. Speaking of Kpop (duh?), Golden Disc Awards in Manila on Jan?? Like whaaat! GOT7 and Wanna One on the same day please! There are also only 36 days before Christmas. Ain't it wonderful? So many grand things to look forward to! Always excited to be living such an abundant life!✨💖

I've been MIA in this blog for the past month and a half and I'm proud to announce the reason behind it -- I'VE BEEN SO BUSY LIVING MY LIFE!!! YAY! But... I really love blogging though (been doing this for 12 years now omg) so finding time to blog regularly again should be a priority. :)

Anyway, what's been exactly going on in my life lately? What have been keeping me busy? Well... 

+ I celebrated my 25th birthday last September 20

+ I've been enjoying work and had a recent (fun!) trip to Baguio because of it

+ I started my passion project and been feeling so great just because I'm /finally/ working on one of my passion/something I love

+ I am still your Kpop fangirl! GOT7 comeback, Wanna One fan meeting in Manila and other upcoming comebacks and shows (Stray Kids!) have been feeding my fangirl heart well

+ And yes! I saw Wanna One (WOOJIN :(() live just last October 13!! I am still having that post-fan meeting nostalgic feeling so my fan meeting experience would be documented on my next blog entries hehe.

I'm pretty sure a lot of other things happened but these are the ones on top of my head. Life has always been amazing and magical and I feel so grateful to be living my life -- THIS IS THE LIFE I AM MEANT FOR AND... I AM HAPPY. I AM AT PEACE WITH IT.

I know I need to improve on things (e.g. time management/prioritization, more frequent visualization and reflection sessions, etc.) BUT I don't know, I'm feeling so happy, lively, amazing, grateful... just BLESSED! :) 

I have to end this blog entry now since I want to sleep early lol. But yes, I have around 5 topics I want to blog about so I'll be dropping by here again soon. Good night, beautiful :)

The past few weeks involved a lot of changes in my life so I apologize for the lack of updates. Actually, my most recent update (Produce 101) took me more than a week to write because I was caught up with a lot things! Then again, in the midst of all these changes, amazing things just keep on popping and showing up... as expected. :) LIFE IS SO GOOD, MAN! :)

• Support system - I always find change overwhelming but with all the support and love I am receiving from my family and friends... I always always always get by. I get tired and I feel exhausted but knowing that I always have something, someone I can come home to... what is there to fear, really?
• New work, new environment, new people, new experiences - So far, so good. It's been almost a month since I started on my new job and I've already done quite a lot of things e.g. presented a lot of times, met my teammates, attended/prepared events... and I'm happy. :) I must say the adjustment period here is easy and I'm getting more comfortable on my new role and environment as the days go by!
• JJ Project comeback - The long-awaited JJP comeback! After 5 freaking years, mannn! The promotions ended yesterday *ugly crying face* which is such a pity because VERSE 2 album is GOLD. The title song, Tomorrow Today, is relatable as well... especially to people my age who have been experiencing quarter life crisis with every decision we (try to) make. And yes, I bought both versions of the album (Thanks, Jj!) as promised LOL #trash. Then again, since JJP promotions has successfully ended, that also means that GOT7 comeback is S O O N. I still want the boys to rest more though so as a good IGOT7/Ahgase, I'll patiently wait. :)
• Wanna One debut - Wanna One's debut has exceeded expectations and I'm really happy for them! I thought I'd like Energetic better but I find myself listening to Burn It Up more often because it makes me feel hyped up??? LOL. Well, fine, partly because Burn It Up's choreo is LIT and Woojin had his time to shine there lol. Anyway, I bought both versions of the album plus some PD101 official merch too (Thanks, Kwik!). I'm spending way too much money for these Kpop boys but I can't seem to regret it lalala~ 

• Good food - Because of the past work week,  I've been living the #buffetlife at Acacia Hotel and Aiyanar Beach Resort. I also couldn't count the number times I've eaten out and ate various chicken meals (my fave!), pizza, Japanese food, Filipino food, etc.  I'm grateful because I have the chance and I can afford to eat to my heart's content!
• Business ideas - Extremely grateful as well for these random ideas that keep popping up in my head! It also helps that I always have someone I can bounce off the ideas to. Excited for the amazing days ahead... cheers to the execution of these ideas! :D
• Driving again - After more than 2 years of living in fear and not wanting to drive... I finally drove again a couple of weeks ago. My family kept on accompanying me as well! I'm proud to say that the instructors told me that I do know how to drive and I haven't forgotten my past lessons... I just need to practice more and be more confident!
• Upcoming travels -  I have 2 upcoming travels before the year ends - one with my friends and one with my family! I will talk about this more when everything's set already~ The planning is already exciting... what more for the actual traveling, right?  
• Having enough time to pursue my personal goals - Work schedule is crazy because of the travel time but I believe I'm slowly working on my time management skills and I get to allot more time for my personal goals now! I work on my personal goals in the morning (before work) and after work during weekdays and most of my time during weekends. I actually created more progress now vs those months where I literally had more free time. It's all in the mind, after all! I believe I have more than enough time... always! :)
• New music - Mostly coming from PD101 trainees! Some Kpop songs I've been loving right now: NU'EST W's If You, MXM's Good Day, Yongguk&Shihyun's the.the.the. and DAY6' Hi Hello!
• Skin care progress - I've been struggling with skin care problems recently... and it's so difficult? I think this is my worst skin care struggle yet!!! :( BUUUUT! I think I found the answer!! I will blog about it if this new routine I came up with is a success ok!! :D *fingers crossed*

Such a crazy month it has been but I feel fulfilled, happy, lucky, grateful and blessed! I'm indeed living asomekindofamazing life, yoooo! :D Only amazing days ahead as well... hello co-Virgo people, it's our time to shine! :) Plus, September birthday month and -ber months in general?? I can't wait for the Christmas songs and decorations all over the Philippines!

It's the most wonderful time of the year... I'm singing it and claiming it this early, yaaaas! I LOVE YOU! HAVE A HAPPY MONDAY! :)

It's been a while since I last blogged about the recent happenings in my life. Then again, my life has been quite simple. I work. I prepare (for work). I fangirl (a lot). I read. I spend time with my loved ones. I pray. I visualize. I affirm. I sleep. I eat (a lot as well). Repeat. 

Life has been and is always good. I'm grateful. I'm happy. :)

A lot of things have been going on in my life lately. Changes that I brought upon myself are just around the corner. I won't go into specifics just yet but... there's no turning back now. Here we go! 

After feeling stuck for a few weeks now, I AM READY. I am ready to set things in motion... to actually make things happen. People are always willing to help me and I have all the resources. The universe is my catalog and I just have to pick things, put them in my cart, and live a life full of LOVE.

I AM ALWAYS WHERE I AM MEANT TO BE. And all these fit me -- my life, perfectly.

Hello! Here's a new series on my blog, a somekindofamazing life, where I'll write about all the things that made me happy for the past week. This is just another step in living a life full of gratitude, positivity, and love! 

These days, I sometimes feel like my life is uneventful. I wake up, go to work, spend time with my loved ones, fangirl, sleep... repeat. But no! I know I shouldn't feel that way. In my everyday life, there are ALWAYS people, things, and happenings to be grateful for! "A SomeKindOfAmazing Life" would like to document those :) Image openers for this portion will also come from whatever week I am writing about.

Let's start with the week that was!

Almost halfway through the month and through the work week, y'all! Here's a pick-me-up song for you! One of my most favorite GOT7 songs (and GOT7 is sooo crazy, I know!)! :)

My life mantra

This blog entry will probably lack flow and sense. I just want to write, write, write. :)

On the brighter side (yay!), at least I know what I need to work on. When I get overwhelmed and pressured, I just need to meditate for at least 10 minutes and eventually, I'll have that peace of mind to do something again. It's also great to know what I'm passionate about, to have a vision of my dream life, for it put things into perspective. It's like giving myself a pep talk whenever I read my notes on my dream life (I have one in my planner, my journal, and on my phone) and whenever I look at my vision board (actual board and my Pinterest boards)! :D I should also allot more time for myself in the morning to 1.) pray and be grateful, 2.) affirm, and 3.) visualize. Well, I do these 3 things every morning but I often rush in doing so because of the fear of being late to work. Ok, I should wake up earlier to actually give at least 30 minutes of my morning for all of these. Wake up 30 minutes earlier every morning... DONE DEAL! :)

I was working on one of my passion projects yesterday and I felt so happy and motivated. I was suddenly enlightened and thought, "So this is what it feels like to work on something you really love and believe in!" What a wonderful and amazing and POSITIVELY overwhelming feeling :) That's the goal -- to live a life filled with such feelings :) And I believe I am exactly where I am meant to be, at my own pace, where in every day is another opportunity to see the manifestations of my goals and dreams! I am surrounded by loving, caring and supportive people, I am living such a comfortable lifestyle and I am attracting the right events, situations, and people in my life!

Life is good. Life is beautiful. LIFE IS FULL OF LOVE!

• Finally making use of Netflix and guess what I am watching?? AN ASIAN DRAMA... DUH! Lol how typical. Currently on episode 7 of "Good Morning Call"... which is a Japanese drama. It's actually my first J-drama! I usually watch Korean and Taiwanese dramas hehe. 
• The discovery that is Bolppalgan4's (볼빨간사춘기) Red Planet album. The songs are sooo good! No wonder their songs are consistently on top of Korea's music charts. My personal favorites are Galaxy, Tell Me You Love Me, and You = I. I actually like all the songs in the album because it's my kind of music :)
• GOT7 in Australia fan meeting updates and how it was a chance for them to explore a new country :') So proud of my boys! Get well soon, sunshine Youngjae!
• The fact that Jinyoung always has a magazine photoshoot/feature every month since the start of the year! Get that recognition and be Korea's first love (guy version), Jinyoungie^^
• Tomorrow is Mama and Gelo's birthday and also the last work day of the week! Hello 5-day weekend... omg! :D
• These reminders to not be too hard on myself :') Thank you God. Thank you Universe! :)

So why did I still encounter such crisis even if I knew about the Law of Attraction (manifesting your heart’s desires) at such a young age? Well, I already said it. At some point in my life, the things I have manifested were my heart’s CURRENT desires. This is where the value of life experiences come into play. Even if my knowledge on LOA (Law of Attraction) was quite expansive for my age, I still haven’t gained the experiences that would put clarity to what I REALLY want. 

When I manifested my first job — my desire was to get a job that was aligned to what I studied and with an ok starting salary… like every fresh graduate. The Universe gave me more than that. It gave me a first job that opened doors of opportunities — skills to learn, develop and share, local and international travel, meeting people from all walks of life, a clear career growth plan, etc. The benefits and the amazing people I’ve worked with were just cherries on top of the cake! It seemed like the perfect job… and it was indeed the perfect first job for me. But I still quit. Why? Because after almost 3 years of working in that company, I realized that what I was doing was not exactly aligned with my heart’s desires. My passion was different and not having the time and opportunity to pursue that passion left me frustrated and demotivated. So I quit. And I reflected and reflected and reflected... until I’ve arrived at my current heart’s desires — the desires that leave me feeling passionate, fulfilled and just really happy and full of love whenever I visualize myself having these in my life. And along with this positive energy I give off when I think about these desires is the knowledge that these desires are really what I want in my life… simply because these make me happy. :) Of course, identifying my heart’s desires is another story! It took me months of reflection and evaluation before I became comfortable and truly happy with the dream life I’m picturing. I can do another blog post on that one in the future :D

Life experiences are essential because these would lead us to what we really want. For now we may think that we really want something… and when that something occurs, we may think that “Oh, this isn’t really what I want after all.” And that’s ok. Because with every not-so-good experience comes the enlightenment of what we do not want AND what we do want in our lives. And having that clarity is a step closer to manifesting what we truly desire! Good thing the Universe is so kind and abundant that it allows us to always reset our heart’s desires whenever such realizations occur! :D

I also would like to reiterate that this is such a comforting thought to people who are undergoing some kind of crisis— that the Universe has enough for everyone. We are not pitted against each other because we all have different desires; our definitions of success vary. You are not slow or incapable... it's just taking you a number of life experiences before you identify what you truly want. And again, that's ok. :) You're getting there, one step closer, every day. Something I constantly remind myself as well!

Given these insights, the next goal is to lessen the number of life experiences that you do not want! And how do you go about doing this? By knowing what you genuinely, truly, 100% desire in life. A new blog entry is needed for that (which I'll be working on) BUT "Deliberate Creation"  and "Beyond Positive Thinking" by Dr. Robert Anthony were tools that helped me with this step. Check these audio books out!

I've been constantly visiting Pinterest the past days and have been pinning all Law of Attraction-related posts I find. I happened to stumble upon this image and was amazed at how it says "Mar 1." And yes, since today is the 1st of March (2 months of 2017 flew by... just like that!) and this is such a relevant image, let's talk more about The Secret!

Ever since I committed to live out The Secret again (which was around a week ago), I have been looking forward to every waking day of my life. I feel more grateful, blessed and lucky every day. I feel like every day is a day closer to the manifestation of my heart's desires. This is a complete change as I've been mulling over my quarter-life crisis for the last couple of months! People around me noticed this change too... I look so much happier and I am so much kinder now. I genuinely feel happier as well... to the point that I randomly dance, skip, hum, or sing just because I feel like doing so! :D Even typing all these is making me smile!!

I love this feeling. I love the feeling of receiving all of my desires now! I love the feeling of being able to make my loved ones happy. I love the feeling of pursuing my passion. I love the feeling of being able to help other people. I love the feeling of being so so so abundant!!! :D

I LOVE HOW I AM RECEIVING EVERYTHING NOW AND HOW I AM LIVING MY LIFE AS IF I'VE RECEIVED ALL THESE THINGS I AM WISHING FOR! :D

Because in the Law of Attraction, saying all these out is good but actually feeling all the positivity, gratitude and love these affirmations give is BETTER! :) The space of high vibration and high celebration you feel when you affirm yourself makes you ready to receive whatever your desire is. The Universe has it all, you just need to trigger it by thinking of all the things you want, by visualizing that you already have all the things you want AND by ultimately, FEELING that you already have all the things you want! :)

Today, I realized I still have my lapses. Why did I think that I don't deserve whatever I am wishing for? Why did I feel like I shouldn't tell other people my desires because I might jinx it?? Why did I not seek the help and knowledge of other people???

Today, I also shifted these thoughts. I kept on affirming myself that I am deserving and my desire is my abundance. The Universe is abundant and everyone is abundant, after all. THERE IS ENOUGH FOR EVERYBODY. I also talked about my plans to some of my loved ones and it felt sooo good... to the point that my eyes were literally twinkling when I was talking about this! PASSION! They believe in me AND are willing to help me. Life is sooo good! LIFE IS AMAZING! :)

The more I learn about The Secret, the more I feel confident that I CAN manifest my desires!^^ And the more I believe that I can do so, the more I feel grateful, relieved,  optimistic, and loved! :D Isn't that amazing?? 

Every day, I live as if I'm already living my dream life. I live in my dream life more than in my current reality. For me, my current reality is my dream life! And that's the ideal thing to do! :) :D Feel as if your current reality is your dream life and every day just looks so much brighter! :D

I HAVE BELIEF, COMMITMENT, AND FAITH. THANK YOU, UNIVERSE. I LOVE YOU. YOU ARE AMAZING!!! :D

P.S. I'm a Catholic and I believe God led me to live out The Secret again. Weeks before having that lightbulb moment of applying the Law of Attraction again in my life, I've actually asked guidance from Him on what's the next step I should do. And this stood out. :)

Last week, I've realized how I was not exactly applying The Secret in my life for the last couple of months. This was a wake-up call for me for I have always prided myself on how it was so easy for me to always live on the brighter side of life -- to be grateful, optimistic, and loving as often as I can. Quarter-life crisis is also one reason why I had conveniently forgotten how to live out The Secret. When life gets tough, it's just so effortless to succumb to negative thoughts. Agree? 

Anyway... these realizations came with the desire and the motivation to go back to living a a life filled with gratitude, positivity, and love! Since last Sunday, I have been reading up again on how I can effectively apply The Secret in my life and I was reminded that one of the ways to do this is to use daily affirmations.

What are daily affirmations? Daily affirmations are phrases/sentences that convey what you want to manifest in your life. For example, if you want to attract more money, then a daily affirmation can be "I am attracting new income streams." TIP: Use the present tense in a positive tone when creating your affirmations. The point of affirmations is to well, affirm yourself that you already have these things that you are wishing for. Believing that you already have these will leave you feeling happy and confident, which will ultimately send out a positive energy/vibration to the Universe. The Universe will then respond to this positive energy by giving you want you want! Amazing, right?

The more daily affirmations, the better! The key thing here is to feel grateful and thank the Universe because you are already receiving all these wishes. It doesn't matter how many times you repeat these affirmations if you don't believe it and you don't attach positive feelings to it (and GRATITUDE is one of the strongest positive feelings out there!). The Universe is, after all, responding to your positive vibration -- the stronger the positive energy is, the faster the Universe will respond :)

To help me with my affirmations, I write these phrases/sentences on sticky notes and post it on my vision board. Every morning and before I go to sleep, I repeat all these affirmations and visualize myself already having my wishes! This exercise immediately gives me happy vibes! I also literally write affirmations anywhere... on my planner, work notebook, phone notes, etc. especially when I need a mood booster. 

I hope this blog entry inspires you to start another work week with a grateful, positive, and loving mindset. :) Let's all make those things we want... happen! 😊✨

I LOVE YOU!

Tonight, I just want to write. I will not care about the grammar, the consistency of my tenses, or whatnots. I just want to write. Blogging has been my form of self-expression for almost 12 years now. Writing about my feelings put into words things I dare not say out loud.

Before I decided to write tonight, I tried taking a nap... to no avail. I feel tired (the bags under my eyes are proof!), yet I cannot sleep. It may be the coffee I drank this morning or the milk tea I had for dinner... or it may be the endless thoughts that have been plaguing my entire being for months now. Yep, must be those thoughts.

So tonight, I'm writing, hoping that putting these thoughts into words can give me some sort of relief. Or can give me an earlier sleeping time (lol). I'll take whichever.

With GOT7's discography as my background music, I'm feeling somehow better already. Oh, the power of my 7 boys. True healing-dols (healing idols) only! 

Anyway, I feel like I'm having my quarter-life crisis for months now. It's actually very timely as well, being 24 and (still) adjusting to the changes in my life I've brought upon myself. "Am I in the right path?" "Is this what I really want?" "What should be my next step?" "What do I actually want?" are just some of the questions I keep asking myself. 

....so I was in the middle of writing this when I read this article. Relevant and made me feel tons better. It answered those aforementioned questions as well. Amazing. Life works in magical ways. Thank You! :)

A quick Google search states mindfulness as "the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us | (source)." 

This definition hits home for I am the biggest worrywart and overthinker I know. I often get consumed by the what ifs, the fears, the inevitables... which leaves me mentally drained and demotivated. I am a highly self-motivated person and I would like to believe that I'm pretty good in living out the positive thinking philosophy BUT I am also my biggest critic; I tend to to be too hard on myself. 

The worrying is also a hindrance in helping me focus on the NOW -- to breathe, relax, do everything I can now, and leave the rest for the next days. Since worrying makes me restless, instead of being productive, I would rather be lazy and do mindless things (e.g. excessive fangirling and social media browsing)... which is definitely not good if I want to create more progress with my goals. 

This 2017, I want to be be more focused and to appreciate the NOW more -- to live in the moment, take everything in, make most of every minute, and be more aware. To also further counter "being overwhelmed by what's going on around us (me)", here's to never losing sight of the big picture and to paying attention to the essentials. The statement below will also serve as my reminder to be mindful as often as possible:

Do not overthink. Breathe, live in the moment and just do whatever it is need you to do :) NOW is where the action is and NOW needs your full, undivided attention ;) Be grateful that NOW is here!

Hopefully (although I'm not really doubting it!), practicing mindfulness can help me be more productive, positive and of course, present! 

HOW CAN I BE MORE MINDFUL?

How can I actually apply mindfulness in my life? Right now, I'm still developing the habits that will pave way to a more mindful me. Here are some of concrete things I am already doing:

I'm sure this list will grow as the days go by. Right now, I'm just happy because I found the right theme for my 2017 - the theme that I want AND need. I've had a lot of down moments these past few days/weeks and being mindful definitely helped me feel better :)

Cliche and predictable this may be, the new year is everyone's chance for a fresh start! It's the perfect setting to rise again, create something, do what you've always wanted to do This is the period where everyone is full of hope and aspirations. Well... why not make those aspirations concrete by setting your 2017 goals? :)

So I now have 2017 goals! Now what? The next step is to create a system for my goals. A system is like the schedule I'll follow while pursuing those goals. The goal is the big picture while the system is the series of steps I'll do in order to achieve that goal. This is very important because it gives concrete actions and breaks down you goal into bits and pieces, which makes it less overwhelming.

Please also read this article. This is where I got the idea of creating systems.

The last day of 2016 is best accompanied by a yearend blog entry. I've been writing one since 2013 because I feel like I am formally bidding goodbye to another year through this.

Can you believe it? It's the last month of the year already! Honestly, I feel like 2016 went by so fast and so slow at the same time. Well... all the changes in my life throughout the year somehow make that feeling sensible. Let's save the details for the year-end blog entry! :)

Anyway, I just want to blog because a lot of things have been clogging my mind! A life update blog entry it is!

• Busiest work week of my life since I started on my new job. Getting into the groove of it, finally. This also explains why I haven't blogged about anything for more than a week now. 
• Yay to 770 likes in just a little over a week! Without inviting people at that! Magic!
• I will be going to GOT7's fanmeeting on the 23rd. Yes, 2 days before Christmas! This is my Christmas gift to myself. I cannot wait until I see my 7 boys again!!!
• B1A4's newest album, GOOD TIMING, is so good! I have it on repeat while I work. My favorite songs in the album are "A lie" (the title song), "Drunk On You", and "Melancholy." Bless your ears and listen to it now. It's available on Spotify!
• Yesterday, I pigged out. Stress eating! I rarely pig out these days because there's hardly any food establishments near my office (near = walking distance near). This is actually a good thing because I get to save and lose weight lol. Yesterday was an exception because I had lunch with my workmates in Pino then went to Grub Hub for dinner. I'll post the photos soon~ I'm too lazy to connect my phone to my laptop hehe.
• 21 days 'til Christmas! I honestly can't feel the Christmas vibes these days but I'm sure I'll be able to feel it soon. It's my most favorite season after all.
• Watch out for s blog revamp and the rest of my Korea trip stories. I have to finish all those before the year ends.

P.S. I was supposed to write a semi-long life update blog entry complete with photos but then I found out that I had barely taken enough photos to actually post. I should really take more photos!! Then again, I love this format so all is well.
