Sorry for such a weird introduction. I just feel so giddy because it's finally the -ber months, which also means Christmas is near~ My favorite season! I love how Christmas season in the Philippines starts as early as September because I love anything Christmas-y -- Christmas lights, trees, decor, and good 'ol classic Christmas songs. Yes, I'm that person who blasts Christmas songs even if it's nowhere near the holidays... say a random March morning or a rainy June afternoon? Not gonna lie, I'm absolutely not embarrassed that I am a certified Christmas Freak lol!
Anyway, September is also my and GOT7 Jinyoung's birthday month so that easily makes this my favorite month! How lovely, right? *heart eyes emoji* Ok, allow me to be delusional since my birthday is just weeks away~
In all honesty, my random introduction is not related to my post. I guess I just miss blogging this way, blabbing anything that comes to mind. This was how I blogged for the past 11 years -- not really formal, just showing my weird, true self. I'm thinking of keeping it this way, though. It gives off a personal touch, which I like. I may have a public audience now but this is still MY blog that was originally made to document anything that inspires and motivates me. This also means that I'm getting comfortable blogging in a space that is open to the public. No more Google-search protected blogs lol! I think that's a good thing... IT IS A GOOD THING.
Alright, let's get on to why I made this blog post in the first place. Refer to the title please. Since it's a new month (ohh, my introduction is somehow related after all!), I have decided to start on two challenges that will help me achieve a more peaceful mind: the declutter and minimalism challenge. The declutter challenge is for my physical surroundings while the minimalism challenge is for the things that have been occupying my overthinker of a mind.
